Well, my new years resolution to keep my web site updated failed almost as soon as I made it, we are now midsummer and no updates since before Christmas.
We have some very sad news to announce, Our Tamsin was diagnosed as having cancer at the end of January, at nearly 13 she was still as bonny as a puppy and no grey whiskers anywhere, but suddenly the haws started to sweep across her eyes, so off to the vets, where we were devastated to be told it was cancer, two weeks later she became blind, and very wobbly on her back legs, swallowing dry food was diffcult, and the awful decision had to be made, to let her go. Even now as I type the tears are pouring down my face, she was a wonderful bitch, loved all people and other animals, never a cross word said and I am so grateful to having her in my life. Her wonderful nature and temperament has been inherited by all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren (now numbering in total 81 puppies) and when I see her descendants at shows, I can recognise my tamsin looking at me through their eyes.
Onto the positives. Tamerrye Kiss chase, Jo and Jesse, won out of B with a flourish last season and are now B and C, getting placed every week and the collection of blue rosettes are growing. Tamerrye Causing Chaos is C only, Tamerrye The Shadow, only needs one more point to be B excellence it would be nice for her to win out of B before she retires, but she is now starting to show signs of her age when it come to send aways, however she has no bother getting clear rounds in Agility. Tamerrye Celtic Laird has become the proud father of another two litters, with pups now in several countries. I am thrilled to say that he is leaving his mark and all his pups have inherited his sweet nature and good head. His pups are even starting to show their mark in the ring and at 13 mths, pups from his first two litter are getting placed regularly in Novice. Rosettes are nice but more then anything I wish them all a long and happy and healthy life with their new owners.
