SATURDAY 19Th June: The pups are Now Ten weeks: Have heard from (Boots)Tipper, and they are thrilled with him, just can't wait for his second jab and get him out to show off. Also making headway's with Tora's training, she is giving me a bit more committed play, and we are working on instant downs, so getting there. However she is certainly a mans dog, any male visitors or family, she is all over them...as for me she greets me in the morning with a quick kiss and waggy tail and is off to chase the big dogs, David comes into the room and she is wiggling and performing in front of him. Went to dog club Thursday night, only for twenty minutes, but I wanted to not just socialise the pups but to work on their attention. (Richard took Apollo). I was thrilled with Tora she said hello to other dogs and pups but showed more interest in me and what I was doing, I did a few puppy recalls before the class started and then sat and just fed, fed, fed her, every few seconds, she couldn't take her eyes off me and even when friends came over to chat she was still focused on me. BRILLIANT. Richard was not as committed and he and Apollo just sat back and soaked in the atmosphere, but Apollo was also a good boy, no barking, no shying away or lunging and just watched everything with a keen eye.
Off to my grandson's birthday party, a picnic and barbeque in the forest so am taking Tora and possibly the big dogs for a day out, hope Tora is a good girl. We haven't got Apollo as he is in Brighton visiting Richards family, as they haven't already returned home, I guess he is behaving himself.
