Saturday 20th Sept (four weeks and three days).:Wormed the pups yesterday and all have very upset tummies. So out comes the protexin sachets to help with the Bio in their gut. I hate feeding “Poison” to my puppies but worms are just a unpleasant side of puppy hood and it just has to be done.
We had a visit from “aunties” Karen and Kath, and for the whole of their three hour visit the pups just slept! So I was unable to show off all their new skills and how clever they are. Thomas and clarabell are now climbing the first step on the stairs and Clarabell like to lay there in wait to the others so she can throw herself on them. So I try and keep the puppies in the lounge as its harder work to watch them when they bombing about upstairs as well as on the ground floor. The pups have been paper training their sleves for the last week and will try and remember to find a pieces of newspaper to tiddle on, but like little children they are easily distracted and forget to look for the paper if out playing until its too late. We also have a problem with them realising it’s the back feet that have to be on the paper and not just the front feet!
